The ‘Go Gothic’ Monologue, Poetry, Flash Fiction, Short Story and Short Film update July 2019

We were delighted to receive entries from as far away as the USA, Australia, Greece, Poland and Orkney and from all over the UK.

The winners will be notified in the first week in October. A full list of the prize winners will be published on this site on Monday October the 21st. The prizes with the exception of the short film prize will be presented on the 19th of October at the Go Gothic market in Tavistock’s Butcher’s Hall.

The short film prize will be presented on Saturday the 12th of October by Professor Nick Groom at 3 pm Tavistock Library*.


“Soundbites: A Question-and-Answer Session on Vampires, Gothic Monsters, Terror, and Horror with the “Prof. of Goth”, Nick Groom of Exeter University.’ (The session will be chaired by Aaron Wilkins). Presentation of the short film prize by Professor. Nick Groom at the end of the session.
